how crowdsources works

Crowdsources turns voice memos into vox populi. A topic is posed, the community speaks — literally — and those voices are woven into a short documentary. It's not a poll, not a comment thread. It's the real, unscripted sound of people who know something.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

listen: hear what others have said

Browse active topics and play voice notes left by other contributors. Hear the range of views in people's own words and voices.

record: add your voice

Record a voice note up to 30 seconds on an active topic. No account required to listen; a quick sign-in is needed to record.

THE PROCESS

  1. A topic is posed — a question, controversy, or prompt that invites a range of views.
  2. Contributors record a voice note up to 30 seconds long. No writing, no editing. Just your voice.
  3. As notes accumulate, the AI generates a focus question to deepen the next round of contributions.
  4. An admin compiles the most compelling notes into a documentary — a short audio collage of real voices on a real topic.
  5. The documentary is published and available to anyone.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD CONTRIBUTION

The best voice notes are specific and personal. Not "nurses are overworked" but "I've taken a patient home with me twice this year because there was nowhere else for them to go." Thirty seconds of concrete experience beats two minutes of opinion.
